Description
A striking Afghan Kilim Barjesta with a symmetrical pictorial design arranged around two central diamond medallions. Four large, stylised animals face inward across the golden field, accompanied by smaller birds, animal figures and clusters of geometric rosettes. The detailed inner composition is framed by a distinctive border of alternating floral compartments, followed by deep red geometric bands and dark triangular guard borders. Striped panels at both ends complete the traditional construction.
