Description
A distinctive old Afghan Kilim Barjesta, traditionally handwoven from wool. Barjesta rugs combine a flatwoven kilim foundation with raised pile detailing, giving the design added texture and definition. The central field is arranged in geometric panels filled with stylised floral and tribal motifs. Multiple patterned borders and striped end sections complete the composition.
