An impressive antique Persian Heriz rug with a bold geometric medallion, surrounded by angular vines, stylised flowers and richly detailed corner motifs. Warm brick red and rust tones are balanced by deep navy, muted blue, ivory and earthy brown, all framed by a broad ornamental border. Hand-knotted in Heriz, Iran, and estimated to be around 100–120 years old, it makes a distinctive centrepiece for a living room, dining room or study, and sits well with both traditional and contemporary interiors.
