A distinctive handwoven Afghan Kilim Barjesta featuring nine repeated floral emblems arranged in a structured three-by-three composition. Each raised-pile motif is set against a warm natural ground and surrounded by small diamond accents, angular vine forms and multiple geometric borders. Broad striped end panels complete the traditional tribal design. The combination of flatwoven kilim sections and textured raised wool detailing gives the rug depth while retaining a practical, relatively lightweight construction.
